Paylesa legal
Paylesa Terms & Conditions
Effective as published · Version 1
Effective date: 27 July 2026
1. ABOUT THESE TERMS
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Paylesa mobile application, website, marketplace, discount features, support channels, and related services. By creating an account, placing an order, purchasing or using a spin, or otherwise using Paylesa, you agree to these Terms and the policies referred to in them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Paylesa operates a marketplace that connects customers with independent vendors. Unless Paylesa expressly identifies itself as the seller, the vendor shown on the product page is the seller of the product and is responsible for the accuracy, quality, legality, and fulfilment of that listing. Paylesa facilitates discovery, ordering, payment, logistics coordination, support, and dispute resolution.
2. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNTS
You must be legally capable of entering a binding contract under Nigerian law. If you are under 18, you may use Paylesa only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You must provide accurate and current information, keep your login credentials secure, and promptly notify Paylesa of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by Paylesa's failure to apply reasonable security controls. Paylesa may require email verification, identity verification, KYC information, or additional checks before enabling particular services.
3. PRODUCTS, PRICES, AND ORDERS
Product descriptions, images, availability, and vendor information are supplied or confirmed by vendors and may change. Paylesa may moderate listings but does not guarantee that every listing is error-free.
Paylesa uses a direct-purchase flow rather than a shopping cart. Each checkout creates an order for the selected product and quantity. Before payment, review the product, vendor, quantity, delivery address, shipping charge, discount, and total amount.
An order is an offer to purchase. It is accepted when payment is confirmed and the order is accepted for fulfilment. Paylesa or the vendor may cancel an order where stock is unavailable, payment cannot be verified, a listing or price is materially incorrect, fulfilment deadlines are missed, fraud or prohibited conduct is suspected, or cancellation is otherwise required by law. Where a paid order is cancelled, the amount due will be returned through the applicable refund process.
4. PAYMENT
Card and supported electronic payments are processed by Paystack or another payment provider displayed at checkout. Paylesa does not intentionally store your full card number or card security code. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own terms, authentication requirements, limits, or charges.
You authorise Paylesa and its payment provider to charge the amount shown at checkout. A debit alert alone does not prove that Paylesa received a successful payment. Payment status is determined through provider verification and reconciliation. Report duplicate, failed, or disputed electronic payments promptly through Paylesa Support.
5. DISCOUNTS, SPINS, AND PROMOTIONS
Paylesa may offer paid spins, discount-wheel outcomes, coupons, or promotional pricing. The applicable price, number of spins, possible outcomes, product scope, validity period, and usage conditions are shown in the app before participation.
Purchasing a spin does not guarantee a particular target discount unless the app expressly states otherwise. Outcomes are generated and recorded by the platform's server-side rules. Discounts are not cash, cannot be transferred or withdrawn unless expressly permitted, may be limited to an eligible product or order, and may expire. Paylesa may cancel a reward obtained through manipulation, automation, duplicate accounts, payment reversal, or other abuse.
6. DELIVERY AND ORDER STATUS
Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Delivery may be affected by vendor handling, logistics-provider capacity, address accuracy, security conditions, weather, public holidays, and events outside reasonable control. You must provide a complete delivery address and a reachable phone number.
Inspect the package promptly after delivery. Do not mark an order as satisfactory if there is a visible problem. Return and dispute deadlines are explained in the Returns & Refunds Policy.
7. RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND DISPUTES
The Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms. The current platform requires eligible return requests to be submitted through the Resolution Center within 24 hours after recorded delivery. Eligible reasons and evidence requirements apply. Nothing in these Terms excludes a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act or other applicable law.
Refund timing depends on investigation, item return where required, payment-provider processing, bank processing, and fraud checks. The app will show the status of an active case.
8. ACCEPTABLE USE
You must not use Paylesa to commit fraud; impersonate another person; manipulate prices, spins, discounts, reviews, orders, payments, returns, or referrals; interfere with platform security; scrape or automate access without permission; upload unlawful or harmful content; infringe intellectual-property rights; harass another user; or buy, sell, or promote prohibited goods.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Paylesa's name, logo, software, interface, and original platform content are owned by or licensed to Paylesa. Vendors retain responsibility for rights in their listing materials. You may use the service only for its intended personal or business marketplace purpose and may not copy, reverse engineer, distribute, or commercially exploit protected platform materials except as permitted by law or written permission.
10. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
Paylesa may restrict, suspend, or close an account where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate fraud or security incidents, enforce these Terms, or respond to repeated policy violations. Where appropriate, Paylesa will provide notice and an opportunity to contact Support or appeal. Obligations relating to completed orders, refunds, disputes, intellectual property, liability, and records survive account closure.
11. SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND LIABILITY
Paylesa aims to provide a secure and reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paylesa is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for loss caused solely by an independent vendor, logistics provider, financial institution, telecommunications provider, or event outside Paylesa's reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or applicable statutory consumer rights.
12. PRIVACY
The Privacy Policy explains how Paylesa collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains personal data and how you may exercise your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
13. CHANGES
The Super Admin may publish updated Terms when the service, law, or operational rules change. The app displays the publication date and version. Material changes may be communicated in the app or through your registered contact details. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law; where fresh consent is legally required, Paylesa will request it.
14. GOVERNING LAW AND CONTACT
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Parties should first attempt to resolve a complaint through Paylesa Support. This does not prevent either party from using a competent regulator, court, or other lawful dispute-resolution process.
